Admission Of Pupils
The Governors follow Hampshire County Council’s Policy.
Our designated catchment area covers a particular area of Church Crookham. To find your catchment school follow this link
Children start school when they are 'rising 4' and will turn 5 years old during their first academic year at school.
In the term before the children are due to begin in reception year, we run a programme of visits and events designed to help the children and parents settle into the school.
Induction is planned into the part-time admission programme; details of the programme will be given to parents/carers early in the summer term.
Transfer From The Area
If your family is going to move from the area it is helpful if you can let us know a date as soon as possible. The class teacher can then update reports and records for your child to be sent to the child’s new school.
Transfer To Junior School
Children remain in the Infant School until the end of the summer term of the academic year in which they are seven years old, on or before August 31st.
The majority of children transfer to Church Crookham Junior School and have close liaison about the transfer arrangements with all local Junior Schools.
If this is the designated school for your child and you live more than two miles from the school, free transport may be provided by the Local Education Authority. (Measured by the shortest route.) If you think you may be eligible your enquiries should be directed to the Fleet Education Office. (Address under Education Service Information.)
